Foyle Search and Rescue ask for flag day volunteers tomorrow at Maritime Festival along the quay

Foyle Search and Rescue have appealed for volunteers to help them along the quay tomorrow as the Mayor has arranged for them to have a flag day collection at the Maritime Festival. Foyle Search and Rescue put out a call for volunteers from between 12 noon to 10pm on their Facebook page and have asked anyone who would like to help to contact them through Facebook private message. A representative from Foyle Search and Rescue said: "As part of The Mayors chosen charity The Mayor has kindly offered Foyle Search to hold a flag day collection along the quay during The Foyle Maritime Festival tomorrow, Wednesday, July 18, between 12 - 10pm. "If anyone is interested in helping out with this collection tomorrow if they would like to send us a private message and further details can be given.
