15 jobs lost in Derry after Poundworld confirms all of its stores across the UK will close at the end of this month

15 jobs will be lost in Derry after Poundworld confirmed all of its stores across the UK will now close down. Deloitte, which was appointed joint administrator to Poundworld last month, announced yesterday that all the budget retailers' branches in the UK will shut, including the Derry outlet at the Richmond Centre, pictured above. A total of 188 people will lose their jobs as a result. The stores in Derry, Omagh, Armagh and Cookstown will close at the end of the month.
