Judge refuses to grant anonymity to a 39-year-old Derry man who appeared in court this morning charged with indecently touching a woman in a sexual manner

A Judge today refused to grant anonymity to a 39-year-old man who appeared in custody at Derry Magistrate's Court, sitting in Omagh, charged with indecently touching a woman in a sexual manner. The defendant, Frank O'Hagan from Clon Elagh in Derry is alleged to have committed the offence yesterday, Sunday, August 5. He is further charged that on the same date he assaulted another woman and pursued a conduct of harassment against her. Deputy District Judge Chris Holmes said a bail address proposed by the defence was not suitable and the defendant was remanded in custody until Thursday to enable the defence to put forward another proposed bail address.
