Derry woman charged with shoplifting £1,700 worth of goods is banned from entering Primark

A woman charged with the theft of goods valued at more than £1,700 from Primark in Derry has appeared at the local Magistrate's Court sitting in Omagh. Maureen Cooke (49) of Brisland Road in Eglinton in Derry faced two charges. She was charged with stealing goods valued at £267 on July 17, she also faced a charge of stealing goods valued at more than £1,500 on dates between February 1 to July 17. A police officer connected her to the charges and she was released on condition that she does not enter Primark. The case will be heard again on September 5.
