A leading Donegal home interiors department store is recruiting for a Sales Advisor and a part-time Store Person. Hegarty's Home Interiors offers flooring, furniture, giftware, kitchenware, electrical, and audio/visual equipment from a modern and spacious department store in Buncrana.
Sales Advisor Role
The Sales Advisor role is in the furniture and flooring department of Hegarty's Home Interiors. The role includes commission based on sales revenues. The daily tasks associated with the Sales Advisor position include:
Build and develop strong relationships with a broad range of new and existing customers
Processing customer orders and providing expert advice on the company’s extensive products and services
Maximising sales opportunities and cross-selling products
Merchandising of products
Respond to customer requests, keeping explanations clear and simple, and ensuring every customer leaves the store satisfied
Any other day to day tasks that may be required
An experienced furniture retail Sales Advisor within the furniture business would be preferable but all applications will be considered. In addition, training will be given to the successful applicant. The experience required for the Sales Advisor role includes:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work with cross-functional teams
Ability to take the initiative with a positive, problem-solving attitude
Strong attention to detail and an ability to multitask
Strong organisational skills and experience in planning tasks
Strong computer skills
Ability to work on your own initiative to ensure the store is maintained to a high standard
Part-Time Store Person Role
