Motorists in the city have been urged to take care as major repair work takes place at the busy Caw Roundabout next weekend. Sinn Féin Waterside Councillor Christopher Jackson said: “This is possibly one of the busiest roundabouts in the city. Its sees thousands of vehicles travel through it each day. “A £200,000 resurfacing and reconstruction scheme is programmed to start on the 2
nd September and to be completed by the 5
th September. With work taking place between 7.00pm and 7.00am. “There will be obvious disruption whilst this work is taking place and I would ask motorists to be patient. It’s important to have this work done before the winter sets in and traffic increases with the summer holidays over and local schools and businesses returning to normal.”
