BREAKING: Search operation ongoing at River Foyle after a man was seen entering the water this morning

A search operation is ongoing in Derry at the River Foyle following reports that a man entered the water just before 11am this morning. A police spokesperson said: "Following reports that a male was seen entering the water in the Craigavon Bridge area of Derry/Londonderry just before 11am this morning, police are co-ordinating a search operation with colleagues from the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service, Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service and Foyle Search and Rescue." There are no further details at this time.
