Derry woman admits stealing more than £1,700 of goods from Primark

A woman has admitted stealing goods valued at more than £1,700 from Primark. Maureen Cooke (49) of Brisland Road in Eglinton appeared at Derry Magistrate's Court facing two charges. She admitted stealing goods valued at £267 from Primary on July 17 this year. She also admitted stealing goods valued at £1,500 from the same store on dates between February 1 and July 17. The case was adjourned to allow a pre-sentence report to be prepared and Cooke will be sentenced on October 12.
