'You are putting your own lives at risk' - Police issue warning to those behind latest arson attack at former primary school on the Waterside area of Derry

The PSNI in Derry has warned that those behind the latest arson attack at a former primary school in the Waterside area are placing lives at risk. The warning comes after yet another fire at the former Ebrington PS site last night, where substantial damage was caused. A PSNI spokesperson said: "Substantial damage was caused to the building and those behind this incident not only put their own lives at risks but also those of the emergency services and also the local residents in Clooney, Ebrington and Bond Street. "If you have any information please contact Police on 101 quoting CCS 1326." Meanwhile, the DUP councillor for the area, David Ramsey, reiterated calls for the building to now be demolished.
