Barclays online banking down - mobile and online services have locked users out of accounts

Barclays Bank users have been locked out if their online, mobile and telephone banking in a major glitch today. Barclays customers across the North West would have received a message this morning when attempting to access services saying: 'Sorry - Barclays Online Banking is currently unavailable'. Concerned customers have been contacting the bank this morning and Barclasy have apologised for the inconvenience saying they are working on getting things up and running as soon as possible. A spokesperson for Barclays Bank said customers can still make make payments and check balances on their Mobile Banking app or through the automated Telephone Banking service.
