Pedestrian hit by car on Buncrana Road escapes with non-life-threatening injuries

A female pedestrian hit by a car this morning during rush hour traffic has escaped with non-life-threatening injuries. The woman was knocked down this morning before 9am on the Buncrana Road near the Branch Roundabout and emergency services attended the scene to treat her for her injuries. There was some traffic disruption in the area following the accident. Police have confirmed that it was a collision between a female pedestrian and a car and that the woman sustained neck injuries.
