Police in Derry describe theft of seven cows worth £8,000 from field in Eglinton as 'udderly unacceptable'

Police are appealing for witnesses following the theft of livestock from a field on the Station Road, Eglinton. This is believed to have happened some time between 30th September and 9th October. "In total seven cattle worth approximately £8000 were taken in this udderly unacceptable crime," a police spokesperson stated on the PSNI Foyle Facebook page. Anyone with information is asked to contact 101 quoting reference number 729 of 10/10/18.
