Oisin McLaughlin, whose address was given as Ardcairn in Dungiven, pleaded guilty to the eighteen charges he had originally denied. He also pleaded guilty to a single charge of attempting to indecently assault one of the girls between the same dates. The defendant, who until recently has lived in Perth, Australia, was released on continuing bail until his plea and sentencing hearing takes place on November 20 and Judge Babington ordered a pre-sentence report for that date. Judge Babington said if either of the injured parties wished to compile a victim impact statement, that was a matter entirely in their hands.
