Historical tour of Derry's City Cemetery to take place tomorrow

Friends of Derry City Cemetery will lead a series of tours taking in the history of the cemetery from the mid-19 th century through the First Word War and beyond tomorrow. The event is taking place as part of the Creative Centenaries #Making History 1918 Programme, the Tower Museum has the following talk, film and tour scheduled for the month of October.

The history of the cemetery, including its connections to events from throughout the Decade of Centenaries, will be explored by experienced guides Seamus Breslin and Trevor Temple.

Tours last one hour and fifteen minutes and spaces are limited.

The Cemetery Tour start starts at 1pm leaving from the Derry City Cemetery.
