Court receives update in case of two Derry brothers charged with murder of local father-of-five Karol Kelly in knife attack earlier this year

A date for the preliminary enquiry (PE) into the case of two Derry brothers currently in custody on a murder charge will be set in November. Sean and Gary Anderson (20 and 21 respectively) are charged with the murder of Karol Kelly on March 4 this year. At today's hearing the court was asked to adjourn the case for four weeks to fix a date for a preliminary enquiry. A date was set for November 22 in order to fix a date for the PE. Both men were further remanded in custody to appear again by videolink on November 22.
