Derry businesses invited to explore cross-border funding support
12 Nov 2018
Local businesses are being invited to explore funding opportunities at a seminar hosted by Londonderry Chamber of Commerce and the EURES Cross Border Partnership. The free lunchtime event at the Bishop’s Gate Hotel on November 20 will focus on employer incentives and support available for SMEs in the cross-border region. The Chamber and EURES will welcome a number of speakers from, Intertrade Ireland, the Department for Communities, Derry City and Strabane District Council and North West Regional College. A Chamber spokesperson said: “By bringing along some businesses which have benefitted from the incentives and schemes discussed, the attendees will gain a practical insight into what is available to them and how it can be applied to their own business.” EURES will provide a full overview of the supports available to those doing business in cross-border region. Topics to be covered include information and advice on recruiting cross-border workers; grants and support available to help recruit new staff, and funding opportunities and development support available for SMEs north and south of the border. To book your place at the seminar on Tuesday, November 20 from 11.45am to 2pm, please contact Lorraine Allen on 028 7126 2379 or email email@example.com. Registration is also available online at
