Kind hearted Derry boy completes mini marathon for Maternity and Neo Natal Units at Altnagelvin Hospital

A young boy has made a substantial to a Derry hospital to acknowledge the care given to his sister and cousin. The Western Health and Social Care Trust (Western Trust) Maternity and Neo Natal Units at Altnagelvin Hospital received the generous donation from Lennon Hamill last week. Lennon, who is a year 8 at St Joseph's Boys' School,  ran the mini marathon and through donations from family and friends, he raised £410 to donate to the Units in acknowledgement of care received by his little sister Zara and cousin Tiernan. Lennon’s proud mum Roisin along with Zara accompanied Lennon to the presentation, with Tiernan and his mum Aoife. Nicole McCrory, Aisleigh Smyth and Hayley McGilloway accepted the donation on behalf of the Units.
