Residents urged to attend community watch meeting in Greysteel tonight

Sinn Féin Councillor Dermot Nicholl has issued an open invite to a community watch meeting in Greysteel tonight.
Councillor Nicholl said: "A meeting will take place in  Greysteel Community Centre on Monday the 19th November at 7.30pm."
"The aim of this is to establish a community watch scheme in the village and surrounding areas. This is something I have been working on for some time and I am glad to be able to bring together the relevant authorities to get this kick started."
"Anti social activities and drugs are a problem all year round but especially at this time with a number of break ins in recent weeks. With dark nights setting in it is important to give our residents whatever peace of mind we can in their own homes."
He added: "I would encourage everyone to come along to this with an open mind to contributing to our community life."
