Civil Rights Committee present cheque to Mayor of Derry's chosen charity

Members of the N. Ireland Civil Rights Commemoration Committee this week handed over a cheque for £1,000 to the Mayor’s charity, Foyle Search and Rescue.

The money was raised from the proceeds of a series of events which took place in the Guildhall, Derry, marking the 50th anniversary of the birth of the Civil Rights Movement on 5th October 1968.
