CCI
Voting is now open for the annual '12 windows of Christmas' competition where local businesses are recognised for the effort they put into their festive window displays. The competition, run by the City Centre Initiative (CCI) has now been whittled down to the 12 and voting is now open. They are - Mermaid Cove, Cafe Zest, Douglas & Cobane Optician, Checkpoint Charlie, The Gift Box, Quiggs Florist The Quirky Raven Coffee Co, Sproules Jewellers, No19 Craft Design, Walled City Crafters, Evolve Menswear and The Black Tie Showroom A CCI spokesperson said: "Each year, we at City Centre Initiative like to celebrate our city centre businesses who put in great efforts with their Christmas window displays and ensure our city centre is a bright, welcoming place for shoppers throughout the festive season. "The competition this year had a record number of entries and we have found it very difficult to short list from over 100 to just 12. "If we could reward everyone for effort we would but unfortunately we only have 12 places on our short list and we now need your help to crown our top three winners for 2018. "Thanks to our competition sponsors, Maldron Hotel Derry City Hotel and Foyleside Shopping Centre." Copy and paste the following https://contest.app.do/lwkijn and vote, votes can also be made via email to aisling@cciderry.com or by telephoning 028 7136 0169. One vote permitted per day and voting closes on Monday 10th December at 5pm.
