Derry police vow to clampdown on illegal parking in city

Police in Derry have vowed to continuing clamping down on illegal parking in the city. It follows 19 tickets being placed on vehicles in the Bogside, Brandywell and Fountain areas on Tuesday last. A police spokesperson revealed the tickets were issued for being parked on the pavement, parked within 15 metres of a junction and obstructing the road or footpath. The spokesperson added: "We will continue to issue tickets to those who commit these offences."
