Security alert in Derry... police seal off road

There is a security alert in Derry. It is understood Circular Road in the Creggan area has been sealed off by police. Sinn Fein MLA Elisha McCallion said she has been made aware of "an incident" in nearby Ballymagowan and anyone affected can avail of services at the "Corn Beef Tin and Old Library Trust on Central Drive. She added: "If anyone needs any additional assistance please feel free to contact Sinn Féin on 02871377551." Meanwhile, police have reduced the security cordon following Saturday night's car bomb in Bishop Street. A PSNI spokesperson said investigators were "working around the clock" but Bishop Street car park remained closed.
