Many roads in Derry and across the North West were gridlocked this morning following last night's overnight snowfall. So what lies ahead. Well, the good is that no further snow is forecast - however, temperatures are expected to go several degress below zero during the night, so motorists are once again being advised to show extra caution in the morning. Tomorrow is forecast to be cloudy with temperatures rising no higher than three degrees. Looking ahead, Friday is expected to be sunny with a top temperature of four degrees and a low of minus two. It is forecast to stay dry over the weekend with a maximum of five degrees and a low of minus two. Photo shows slow-moving traffic on Springtown Road this morning following the overnight snowfall.
