Boy (15) arrested connection with Derry shop robbery

A 15-year-old boy has been arrested by police investigating the robbery of a shop in the Bogside area of Derry yesterday. The incident occurred at a shop in Blucher Street (pictured) at around 10.20am. Police said the robber, who was brandishing what was believed to be a butcher's knife, made of with a sum of cash after demanding a member of staff hand over money from the till. The staff member was not injured but had been left shaken by the incident, police said.
