Waiting a bus shelter - then along comes another one
25 Feb 2019
“As the old saying goes, you wait ages for a bus and then two come along at once now the same can be said for bus shelters in Creggan, Sinn Fein Councillor Kevin Campbell has said. Cllr Campbell (“I have been campaigning for additional bus shelters in the area for some time now and just welcomed a few weeks ago the installation of a new shelter at the New Road. “Now I am very pleased that has been quickly followed by the installation of a second shelter at Iniscarn Road. “These new bus shelters will make life more comfortable for those residents of the area who depend on public transport to get around. It will also be of special benefit to the youth of the area who must stand out in the open in all-weathers waiting for school buses." Cllr Campbell concluded: “We have received complaints from parents and grandparents of children from the area with complaints in bad weather they were going into school soaked to the skin even before they started the school day and that is not what we want in 2019."
