BREAKING: Police confirm woman's body recovered from Lough Enagh in Strathfoyle area of Derry

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the sudden death of a woman whose body was recovered from the water at the Temple Road area of Strathfoyle this morning.

A post mortem is due to be carried out but the death is not being treated as suspicious.

In a statement to the Derry News the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service also confirmed that it received a 999 call at 07:51 on Saturday 2 March following reports of a water incident on Lough Enagh in the Strathfoyle area. He added: "NIAS despatched an Emergency Crew to the incident.  No-one was taken from the scene."
