Man due in Derry court on assault and motoring offences

Detectives investigating a report of the theft of tools and the hijacking of a vehicle in Derry on Monday last have charged a 26 year old man with a number of offences including common assault, driving whilst unfit and using a motor vehicle without insurance. He is due to appear at Derry Magistrate's Court today. A 35 year old man also charged in connection with the incident was remanded in custody when he appeared in court yesterday. Two further men arrested in the Muff area of Inishowen by Gardai appeared yesterday at Letterkenny District Court.,
