Man returned for trial to Derry Crown Court on drug supply charges

A man 20-year-old man has been returned for trial to Derry Crown Court on a series of drug charges. Jordan Young (20), of Glenshane Road in Claudy, appeared at a preliminary enquiry at Derry Magistrate's Court. He was charged with possessing cocaine and cannabis with intent to supply to others on 16 April last year. He also faced two charges of possessing the drugs on the same date. Young was also charged with being concerned in the supply of cocaine and ecstasy and cannabis and Ketamine on the same date. It was accepted there was a case to answer and there were no contrary submissions. Young said he did not wish to call any witnesses or make any statement at this stage. He was returned for trial to Derry Crown Court on 7 May and released on bail.
