lyra website
A GoFundMePage set up to raise money for the funeral expenses of the Belfast journalist shot dead in Derry last night. Lyra McKee (29), originally from Belfast but had been living in Derry, was shot in the head by a masked gunman who opened fire on police land rovers at Fanad Drive. The page has been put up by Padraig Reidy and Michael Harris who promise all the money raised would “go to the family of Lyra McKee for funeral expenses and to decide on her legacy.” £13,000 had been pledged in the first few hours of the page being set up. If you would like to donate to the page go to: https://www.gofundme.com/in-memory-of-lyra-mckee
