'IRA' graffiti threat to Maghaberry prison officers

Graffiti has been daubed on a wall in the Creggan area of Derry making a threat against three named prison officers. The writing in the Blighs Lane area, states 'Maghaberry Screws Beware IRA' is accompanied by a target drawn beside it. Sinn Féin MLA Raymond McCartney said he condemned the graffiti. "The people behind this have nothing to offer but threats and intimidation. The statutory bodies responsible need to be remove the graffiti immediately," he said. The PSNI said its aware of the incident and appealed for anyone with information to contact them.
