Man remanded over St Patrick's Day harassment charges in Derry

David Ross (47) of no fixed abode appeared facing four charges including two of harassment and two of behaving in a manner to cause fear and alarm

A man has been remanded in custody at Derry Magistrate's Court charged with harassment and causing fear and alarm.

David Ross (47) of no fixed abode appeared facing four charges including two of harassment and two of behaving in a manner to cause fear and alarm.

The charges were said to have occurred on March 17 this year.

A police officer connected the accused to the charges and defence counsel Stephen Chapman said he has no address currently. 

He said he was hopeful the case could be resolved within the week.

Ross was remanded in custody to appear again on March 26.
