Cemeteries, museums and visitor services will also operate as normal, with both the Guildhall and the Tower Museum’s Derry Girls exhibition open to the public.

The Foyle Arena will open as usual on the Bank Holiday, however all other leisure centres will be closed for the day. These facilities will reopen on Wednesday, March 18.

The council offices at Strand Road, Derry, and Derry Road, Strabane, along with the Registrar’s Offices in both locations, will be closed on Tuesday, March 17 and will resume normal operations the following day.

Council's dog wardens and kennels will operate as normal throughout the Bank Holiday.
