County Derry man returned for trial on bank card theft and burglary

A man has been returned for trial to Derry Crown Court on charges including burglary and theft following a Preliminary Enquiry at Derry Magistrate's Court.

Owen Gallagher (34) of Fearmoyle Road in Coleraine was charged with, on May 2 2020, burglary of a premises on the Trench Road, aggravated vehicle taking causing damage and theft of a bank card.

It was accepted that there was a case to answer and there were no contrary submissions.

Gallagher chose not to submit any statements and not to call any witnesses.

He was returned for trial to Derry Crown Court on April 13 and released on bail.
