Community information meeting on proposed large-scale wind energy development at Mullaghclogher.

A community information meeting will be held regarding a proposed large-scale wind energy development at Mullaghclogher (The Moat) and its potential impacts on surrounding areas.

A spokesperson for the Save The Moat – Save The Sperrins campaign said: "The meeting will provide information on what is being proposed, the communities affected, and how local residents can engage with the planning process.

"Areas affected include: Aughabrack, Plumbridge, Glenelly, Dunamanagh, Lifford, Gortin, Newtownstewart, Glenmornan, Claudy, Park, Craigbane and the wider Sperrins," they added.

"The meeting will take palce on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, from 7.00pm to 9.00pm in Plumbridge Hall

"This is a community meeting for those concerned about the industrialisation of the Sperrins Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty."
