Two men returned for trial at Derry Crown Court over drug offences

The men were charged with possession of class A drugs and possession with intent to supply

Two men have been returned for trial to Derry Crown Court on a number of drug charges following a Preliminary Enquiry at Derry Magistrate's Court.

The men, who cannot be named as they had previously been granted anonymity, were charged with, on January 16, possession of class A drugs and possession with intent to supply.

They were also charged with possession of class B drugs on January 23 this year.

It was accepted that there was a case to answer and there were no contrary submissions.

Both men chose not to submit any statements and not to call any witnesses.

They were returned for trial to Derry Crown Court on January 27 and released on continuing bail.
