Man charged with Derry drugs offences due in court next month

District Support Team officers in Derry investigating the supply of illegal drugs in the city, have charged a man to court.

The 27-year-old, arrested in the Derrymore area on Monday evening (November 10), has been charged with possession of a Class A controlled drug, being concerned in an offer to supply a Class A controlled drug, and being concerned in the supply of a Class A controlled drug.

He has also been charged with being concerned in the supply of a Class B drug, and being concerned in an offer to supply a Class B controlled drug.

The man is due to appear before Derry Magistrate's Court on Wednesday, December 3.

As is usual procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
