Derry man sent for trial on burglary and car theft charges

A man has been returned for trial to Derry Crown Court on charges of burglary and taking a car without permission.

Ryan McLaughlin (39) of Glenabbey Road in Derry was charged with the offences that were said to have occurred on December 16 last year.

It was accepted that there was a case to answer and there were no contrary submissions.

McLaughlin chose not to submit any statements and not to call any witnesses.

He was returned for trial to Derry Crown Court on November 24.
