Derry woman Sally (before and after) who lost over four stone with Slimming World.
A Derry woman has spoken of her remarkable weight loss journey.
“My Slimming World journey began on the 30th January 2025.
"I knew I had to do something as my weight was getting me down and so unhappy in myself.
"Week 1, I had an amazing 6lbs off but that was only the start of it as I had so much more to lose. I set a target for 2 stone for my holiday in September. April came and I received my 2 stone award.
"Confidence started to kick in and I was feeling good in myself. I set a target for another stone which I then got in July followed by another stone in August.
"My sons bought me a walking pad for my birthday, I faithfully go on it for one and a half hours a day – I have so much energy now.
"I went on holiday four stone lighter and wearing clothes I never dreamt off - it was a fantastic feeling!
"I am hoping to reach five stone for Christmas. I couldn't have done it without the help of my consultant Tabitha and my previous consultant Ivan and all of the members in our group. I honestly couldn't be any happier.
"Ps. I am also so delighted as I got the 'Women of the Year' award.
