Legenderry Motor Show returns later this month to St Columb’s Park

The much-loved Legenderry Motor Show is back on Sunday, September 28 at St Columb’s Park, promising a fun-filled family day out packed with engines, entertainment, and community spirit.

Now firmly established as one of the North West’s biggest annual motoring events, the Legenderry Motor Show brings together an incredible mix of classic cars, motorbikes, tractors, trucks, supercars and much more – anything with an engine is welcome!

Alongside the stunning displays, visitors can enjoy a BMX Jump Display, Static and Fly Falconry Display, trade stands, family attractions, food vendors, and live entertainment and River Radio will be broadcasting live from the Show!.

Organisers Richard and Joanne Gillespie said: “Each year the Show grows even bigger and better, and we’re so excited to welcome everyone back this year. Whether you’re a motoring enthusiast or just looking for a great family day out, there will be something for everyone to enjoy.

“All we ask from spectators is a donation into the Kidney Care UK charity buckets at the gate, no matter how big or small and for show vehicles there’s no need to pre-book, just pay at the gate – Bikes/mopeds/scooters £5, Cars / vans / tractors £10 and Trucks £15.”

Kidney Care UK Northern Ireland Ambassador Jo-Anne Dobson, who is herself a living kidney donor, added: “The Legenderry Motor Show is such a special event – not only for the incredible displays and family fun, but also for the vital support it provides for kidney patients and their families. Our team of volunteers led by kidney transplant recipient Heather Vance are really looking forward to meeting everyone at St Columb’s Park this year and sharing in what promises to be another unforgettable day.”

This year’s Show will also be held in loving memory of Graham Gillespie, who was affectionately known as “the Legend in Legenderry” and was central to building the event into what it is today.

The Legenderry Motor Show not only celebrates a passion for all things automotive but also continues its proud tradition of supporting Kidney Care UK, helping local kidney patients and their families across Northern Ireland.
