Firefighters attend 'minor incident' at Derry's Pennyburn dump

Firefighters extinguishing a fire at the Pennyburn dump this afternoon

The NI Fire and Rescue Service attended a minor incident at Pennyburn Recycling Centre this afternoon, involving a fire on a third party service vehicle on the site.

A spokesperson for Derry City and Strabane District Council confirmed that the site remained closed for a short time while the incident was dealt with.
