Students and staff at St. Patrick’s College, Dungiven came together with families on results morning to celebrate another year of ‘record breaking’ GCSE success.
This summer, 95% of students achieved five or more GCSEs at grades A*–C, while 82% achieved this benchmark including both English and Maths. These excellent results highlight the commitment of students and the continued dedication of staff in supporting them throughout their studies.
This year’s strong results were shared by many, with Aoife Lavery, Dylan McWilliams, Pearse Murphy, Leanne O’Neill, and Sarah McCormick among those celebrating impressive personal achievements.
Acting Principal, Mr. McMullan said: “The results we are celebrating today reflect the hard work of our students. They have embraced every challenge and should take great pride in what they have achieved. I would also like to acknowledge the role of our staff and the encouragement of families, whose support has been central to this success.
"Our Year 11 pupils have also achieved excellent results in their GCSE modules, giving them a strong foundation as they move forward into Year 12.”
