Two taken to hospital following Newtown collision
Two people have been hospitalised following a serious crash near Newtowncunningham.
The incident, involving two cars, occurred on the Letterkenny side of Newtowncunningham at Kilyverry, one mile outside Newtown village, just after 10:00pm on the main Letterkenny to Derry road last Wednesday night.
An Garda Síochána, Donegal Fire Service and two ambulances attended the scene of the road traffic collision, and the road was partially blocked for a period of time.

An 18-year-old male driver and a female driver in her early 50s of the other vehicle were transferred to Letterkenny University Hospital (LUH) for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
