Economy Minister Dr Caoimhe Archibald has met with the Board and Directors of Visit Derry to discuss the opportunities to ensure the growth and sustainability of the region’s tourism industry.
Speaking afterwards the Minister said: “Regional balance is one of the key priorities as part of my Department’s Tourism Vision & Action Plan and I believe that Visit Derry can play an important role in achieving that objective.
“Through working with a wide range of partners and agencies, Visit Derry has been successful in making the North West region a recognised local and international visitor destination by developing and delivering a range of marketing, visitor servicing and product development initiatives.”
