Man appears at Derry Magistrates' Court charged with number of domestic offences

A man has appeared at Derry Magistrates' Court charged with a number of domestic offences.

Alan Mooney (41) of Drumleck Drive in Derry was charged with, on June 1, assault, threatening to damage property and criminal damage, all of which were aggravated by way of domestic abuse.

A police officer connected the accused to the charges. 

Police did not object to bail and he was released on a number of conditions, including residing in an address approved in advance by police, not entering Clon Dara and not having any contact with the alleged injured party.

He will appear again on June 26.
