A vibrant new mural titled "A Community in Bloom" has been officially unveiled in Glenabbey, marking the launch of a collaborative community art initiative.
The mural was jointly developed by Community Restorative Justice (CRJ), Derry City and Strabane District Council (DCSDC), and Studio 2, in partnership with renowned street artist Peaball and his team.
This inspiring public artwork was designed and brought to life by local young people and pupils from St Brigid’s College. It reflects a message of hope and positivity, celebrating the strength and potential of the Glenabbey community.
"This project demonstrates the incredible creativity and pride our young people have in their community,” said a spokesperson for CRJ. “The mural stands as a symbol of growth, collaboration, and a brighter future."
The launch event was a proud moment for everyone involved, highlighting the power of youth voices and artistic expression in building community spirit.
