Buncrana Road
The A2 Buncrana Road scheme is a significant infrastructure project which has the potential to help unlock the north-west, it has been claimed.
Sinn Féin MLA Pádraig Delargy was speaking after asking the Minister for Infrastructure for an update on the project during Question Time in the Assembly.
The Foyle MLA said: “The A2 Buncrana Road scheme is a significant infrastructure project which will improve regional connectivity, reduce journey times, and enhance road safety in the north-west, as well as unlocking the economic potential of this region.
“I welcome that the A2 Buncrana Road scheme is being actively considered as part of the north-west transport plan, a draft of which is expected to go out to public consultation in December this year.”
