A public meeting is to take place in Derry following the withdrawal of funding from Northlands Addiction Treatment Centre by the Department of Health.
The meeting will take place in the Alexander Suite of Derry's City Hotel, at 7.00pm on Wednesday, May 7 and will "discuss the stripping of core funding from the Northlands Centre, a vital component to our local and regional healthcare system".
One of the co-organisers of the meeting said: "Everyone is very welcome, in particular local people who have availed of Northlands services in the city.
"MLA's will be specifically invited so the public can hear what work has taken place up to now and is planned for the future to safeguard the service.
"We are also grateful to the City Hotel for their gracious assistance and given the building is currently being renovated, we would ask that all those attending do so via the underground car park and take a lift to the first floor."
