Derry Magistrates' Court
A man has been returned for trial to Derry Crown Court on tax and VAT fraud charges.
Conor John Gallagher (38) of Glendara in Derry appeared at a preliminary enquiry at the local Magistrates' Court.
He faced a total of nine charges including tax and VAT fraud on dates between April 6, 2018 and November 11, 2019.
He also faced seven charges of transferring criminal property namely cash at more than £62,000.
It was accepted there was a case to answer and there were no contrary submissions.
Gallagher said he did not wish to call any witnesses or make any statement at this stage.
He was returned for trial to Derry Crown Court on May 15 and released on bail.
