Talk on the Peck family of Prehen House in Everglades.
A presentation / talk about the Peck family of Prehen House is to take place in the Derry’s Everglades Hotel.
The talk will be given by Daniel Calley and will take place at 7.30pm on Monday, April 14, 2025.
Mr Calley, a very good friend of the Peck family, is originally from Virginia. Now living in County Derry, he is the current Chairperson of the Ulster Architectural Heritage Foundation. He is an expert on historic houses and the author of “City of Derry: An Historical Gazetteer”.
Much has been written about the famous Knox family of Prehen but the Peck family who came to Prehen in the nineteen seventies have a very interesting background and history which will be brought very much to life by mr Calleyl in his talk at the Everglades.
To cover expenses there will be a small admission charge of £6
