Derry Magistrate's Court
A woman who said to police about a pregnant woman she harassed 'I will kick that wain out of her' and 'pregnant my arse I hope that wain dies' has been jailed at Derry Magistrate's Court.
Cheyenne Hazlett (21) of Aberfoyle Terrace in Derry appeared charged with two counts of harassment, two counts of improper use of the communications network and a charge of assault that occurred on dates between December 28 2024 and January 17 2025.
Hazlett also admitted a charge of theft from Primark on December 23 2024.
The defendant waived her right to a pre-sentence report.
The court was told on January 15 this year police were alerted by probation staff that a fight was ongoing outside the office by some of their attendees.

Hazlett was identified as being involved and police were told she had swung a punch at the male.
The injured parties told police they had been in a shop and Hazlett started 'shouting in their face'.
A female said that she used to be friends with Hazlett but had fallen out after she told the defendant she was not involved with drugs anymore.
She said Hazlett shouted at her in the street when she saw her and she felt harassed.
When arrested Hazlett refused to provide her PIN number for her phone and claimed she was being harassed.
She said the assault was when she tried to knock the phone out of the man's hand.
The court was told that Hazlett made 'numerous comments' about the pair including referring to the woman's pregnancy.
The theft charge came after security staff in Primark saw Hazlett place items in a bag and leave without paying.
Defence solicitor Keith Kyle said the theft occurred in the run up to Christmas.
He said that the harassment and assault was connected to bad feelings between the parties.
He said the court had been left with no alternative to a custodial sentence.
Hazlett was jailed for 7 months.
